EMD Mechanical Services Ltd is a heating and plumbing specialist company based in Kent. With around 30 employees, they work mainly within Central London and the surrounding Home Counties specialising in working on large-scale, commercial and industrial projects. They provide services such as Plumbing/Pipefitting services, Electrical services and installation, Water treatment and management, Air conditioning services and installation, and can also offer a full design and build service.

The Challenge

EMD Mechanical Services Ltd has a temporary office set up on site of a large building which they are involved with renovating in Essex. It would be difficult to get a fixed line installed due to the ongoing works so they needed a temporary solution to enable them to have an internet connection, connectivity back to their head office server and also access to their phone system from the site office.

Telecoms World has created ‘Office in a Box’ which allows operation of up to four IP phones together with superfast wireless broadband over our 4G business mobile network. The system is quick and simple to set up, with speeds of up to 50mbps and was the perfect solution to connect their temporary office for EMD Mechanical Services.
